How to Easily Multiply Fractions

Multiplying fractions is easier and a basic skill to learn in math. Since you have to know how to multiply fractions before you divide them, it is significant to learn how to multiply fractions.

Let’s have 6/4 x 3/2.

1. Multiply the numerators. The number above the line in a fraction is the numerator.

(E.g. 2/3, 2 is the numerator).

2. Multiply the denominators. The number below the line in fraction is the denominator.

(E.g. 2/3, 3 is the denominator).

Going back in my high school days, my professor always required us to simplify fraction for fine reason. It is greatly easier to work with fraction in simplest form like 1/4, 1/2, 1/3, and etc., than a fraction 325/25, 112/62, so on so forth.
